At Discover Gulmarg Expedition, we aim to provide you with unforgettable experiences in Gulmarg and beyond. We understand that sometimes plans change, and cancellations may be necessary. This Cancellation Policy outlines our guidelines for cancellations and refunds. By booking with Discover Gulmarg Expedition, you agree to comply with this policy.

Individual Bookings

Cancellation Requests: If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing or via email as soon as possible. 

Cancellation Charges: The following cancellation charges will apply for individual bookings:

  • More than 30 days before the activity/tour start date: 10% of the total booking cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • Between 15 to 30 days before the activity/tour start date: 50% of the total booking cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • Less than 15 days before the activity/tour start date or in the case of no-shows: No refund will be provided.

Group Bookings (10 participants or more)Cancellation Requests: For group bookings, the lead organizer must submit the cancellation request in writing or via email. 

Cancellation Charges: The following cancellation charges will apply for group bookings:

  • More than 60 days before the activity/tour start date: 10% of the total booking cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • Between 30 to 60 days before the activity/tour start date: 50% of the total booking cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • Less than 30 days before the activity/tour start date or in the case of no-shows: No refund will be provided.

Weather and Safety Safety is our top priority. In the event of unfavourable weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances that may compromise the safety of the activity/tour, Discover Gulmarg Expedition reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the activity/tour. In case of an activity/tour cancellation initiated by Discover Gulmarg Expedition, participants will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule the activity/tour. 

RefundsRefund Process: Refunds for cancellations will be processed using the same method of payment used for the original booking. 

Timeframe: Please allow up to 14 business days for the refund to be processed and reflect in your account. 

Modifications or Rescheduling Requests for modifications or rescheduling of bookings may be accommodated subject to availability and at the discretion of Discover Gulmarg Expedition Any modification or rescheduling request must be made in writing or via email at least 7 days before the activity/tour start date. 

No Show Policy Participants who fail to arrive for the activity/tour at the designated time and location will be considered a no-show. No refunds will be provided for no-shows. 

Additional Terms  Discover Gulmarg Expedition reserves the right to cancel or modify any activity/tour due to insufficient bookings, safety concerns, or any other unforeseen circumstances. Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements, including reaching the activity/tour location on time. Participants are advised to adhere to all safety guidelines and instructions provided by our guides and instructors during the activity/tour.
